Residential Style

The overarching design principles for residential built form in The Workshops encourage high density and high amenity options, creating sustainable community living.

Contemporary, inner-city style apartments will exist above commercial and retail space. More apartments will overlook the Helena River foreshore and home-based offices and businesses will thrive at ground floor with residential above.

Terrace houses and mews will cater for families or those wanting a patch of ground. Warehouse or loft-style living will be developed in selected heritage buildings.

All new buildings will be contemporary in design, while their form and scale will reflect the strong, robust lines and character of The Workshops’ rich industrial heritage.
