Midland is a major activity centre in the Perth metropolitan area of Western Australia. Located just 17km east of the Perth CBD, it retains strong historical ties to the Railway Workshops site around which it grew. Midland is also a busy service centre for smaller Wheatbelt towns and rural communities.
